Mystery Structure at Needham Park

A mysterious structure has appeared in the woods of Needham Park, prompting questions and drawing the curiosity of park users.
Nestled deep in the western woods of the historic Fort Needham Memorial Park and near the iconic
Halifax Explosion Memorial Bell Tower, the structure appears to be a makeshift lean-to shelter.
Whoever built the Needham Lean-To did so with a great deal of care and a keen eye for construction, evidenced by the stable larger branches used for the main supports and installation of smaller branches as wind-guards. However, there is equal care paid to the structure’s insulation and interior, with a great deal of clearing and leaf padding being added inside the shelter.
While it remains a mystery who built the Needham Lean-To, it is safe to assume that they possess a good deal of skill and care for their work. Perhaps the builders will never be found. Perhaps the shelter will continue to expand. Perhaps the Needham Lean-To will become a tourist attraction for the few visitors who venture into Needham’s western woods. All we can say at this point in time is that there’s a mystery at Needham Park and the only ones who know exactly what happened at the ones who built the mysterious Needham Lean-To.
